Design Concept

The cover designs are inspired by traditional Japanese picture scrolls (emakimono), created with a modern twist. The covers use a minimal typography-centric style with an ink brush style typeface. This is then paired with the warrior’s signature weapons dripping ink onto the page. This depicts the idea of the warriors leaving their mark on history.
